Paul Roos het 'n paar swaargewigte op kortlys op rugbypos te vul

Paul%20Roos%20Gymnasium School of Rugby | News - School of RugbyPaul Roos Gimnasium kon nou wel nie daarin slaag om Swys de Bruin na Stellenbosch te lok nie, maar daar is steeds 'n hele paar swaargewigte op die spogskool se kortlys om die pos as Hoof van Rugby te vul. Na verneem word het gesprekke tussen De Bruin en Paul Roos doodgeloop. 

De Bruin was voorheen by die Springbokke en die Leeus betrokke. Hy word as een van Suid-Afrika se voorste afrigters beskou. 

Onder die name op die kortlys is die huidige Varsitybeker-kampioen, Tukkies, se hoofafrigter, Nico Luus asook Boland Landbou se hoofafrigter, Oloff Bergh. Luus het in sy dae as speler die Valke in meer as 150 wedstryde verteenwoordig. Hy is sedert 2017 die Tukkies se hoofafrigter.

54 schools represented in Currie Cup semis but Grey still reign supreme

CurrieCup School of Rugby | News - School of RugbyNo less than 54 schools are represented in the semi-finals of the Currie Cup of 2021.

Grey College of Bloemfontein once again has the biggest representation of old boys with 12 players who completed their school careers at this prestigious rugby factory.

The nearest any of the other schools that come to the representation of Grey is the six alumni from Paarl Gimnasium who will be in action this weekend.

Monument outplay Noordheuwel in Krugersdorp derby

NEwsG_Evan_Retief School of Rugby | News - School of RugbyFive first-half tries from Monument saw Hoerskool Monument outplay Hoerskool Noordheuwel to beat them 47-25 (halftime: Hoerskool Monument 32-13 Hoerskool Noordheuwel), in the Krugersdorp derby as the Premier Interschools continued on Saturday 4 September.
