School of Rugby Rankings - 20 May 2019

Paarl Gimnasium recorded an impressive 42-15 victory over Paul Roos Gimnasium which probably helped them to cement their second position on the rankings. Hilton College (18th) proved their strength with a 25-22 victory over Westville Boys' High (20th).  

Outeniqua's Kwaggas turned the tables against Oakdale Landbou in their annual clash with a 23-17 victory in George. Monument grabbed a last-gasp 32-29 victory over Garsfontein. Garsies however managed to keep their fourth position, after Monnas slipped a week earlier against Waterkloof. 

Menlopark proved too strong for Waterkloof (55-21), while Helpmekaar managed to take it against EG Jansen (48-37)...

School of Rugby Rankings - 13 May 2019

Rugby_FB_icon School of Rugby | SOR Rankings - School of RugbyIt would take a perfect or almost perfect season from Paul Roos Gimnasium to knock Grey College of the top of our rankings come the end of the 2019 season. Grey College scored 38 unanswered points on Saturday to put our third placed team, Paarl Boys' High, to the sword by 43-24.  

Paul Roos Gimnasium will face Paarl Gimnasium and Paarl Boys' High over the next two weekends and will also join our rankings after this.

School of Rugby Rankings - 29 April 2019

SOR School of Rugby | SOR Rankings - School of RugbyThe biggest upset so far this year - King Edward VII defeating Affies in Pretoria by 33-29 had the biggest impact in our second edition of School of rugby's Rankings for 2019. This was a historic first-ever victory for the Red Army over Affies. 

King Edward VII was also emitted erroneously from our first rankings of the season. Paul Roos Gimnasium is still not taken into contention as they have only played two matches against local teams thus far in 2019. The team from Stellenbosch will...

School of Rugby Rankings - 6 May 2019

SOR_Nuus School of Rugby | SOR Rankings - School of RugbyGrey College of Bloemfontein kept their place on top of School of Rugby's latest rankings after two clinical performances during the Wildeklawer tournament in Kimberley. The most important victory was the 47-33 over second-placed Paarl Gimnasium on Saturday.  

There is not much to choose between Paarl Gimnasium and their arch-rivals, Paarl Boys' High, which is in third place. Boishaai will travel to Bloemfontein this weekend which promises to deliver another epic schoolboy rugby...

School of Rugby Rankings - 23 April 2019

SOR School of Rugby | SOR Rankings - School of RugbyGrey College of Bloemfontein started the 2019 season where they've finished the 2018 season on top of School of Rugby's Rankings. The team from the City of Roses  

Paul Roos Gimnasium is not placed on our first rankings for 2019 as they've only played two matches so far that we take into consideration while calculating the rankings. This also the case for the exclusion of Diocesan College (Bishops) and King Edward VII.
